Helsingin seudun & yliopiston Maan ystävät järjestää talkooretken Lassilan luomutilalle Tuusulaan sunnuntaina 11.7.!
Mitä: fyysistä talkootyötä näillä näkymin pellolla tai kasvihuoneilla, luultavimmin kitkemistä, katteen levittelyä tai muuta keskikesän hommaa, joka on mukavaa erityisesti kun sitä tekee yhdessä
Missä: Tuusulassa, Lassilan tilalla, jota viljelee kumppanuusmaatalousosuuskunta Oma Maa
Milloin: su 11.7. aamupäivästä jonnekin pitkälle iltapäivään/alkuiltaan, vähän riippuen kulkutavasta ja ihmisten jaksamisesta
Kyydit: joko pyörällä + junalla (poljettavaa on Keravalta tilalle n. 10 km tai Järvenpäästä vähän vähemmän, lähtö Pasilan asemalta joskus aamuyhdeksän aikoihin, vaatii ABCD-lipun) tai autokyydillä (lähtö Käpylästä n. 9.30)
Mukaan: säänmukaiset talkoovaatteet (huom. auringolta ja kuumuudelta suojautuminen on todella tarpeellista näillä säillä), työhanskat, vesipullo, aurinkorasvaa, oma lounas, uimakamat jos huvittaa uida
Ilmoittautuminen: ilmoittaudu sähköpostitse lauantaihin kello 14 mennessä ja kerro, mikä kulkutapa kiinnostaa eniten: helsinki [at] maanystavat.fi
Muuta: Tilalla on tänä kesänä Vohveliaitta, josta saa vegaanisia vohveleita ja siellä tehtyä vegaanista jäätelöä (kaikki luomua) yms. Niillä ei tosin kannata yrittää korvata lounasta. Kahvilalla on myös valokuvanäyttely, ja tilalla on Jaetut tilat -taideteos, joka on eräänlainen hyönteisaiheinen taidepolku. Siellä on myös pieni lampi, jossa voi käydä uimassa.

Friends of the Earth Helsinki Region & University is going co-working on the Lassila organic farm on Sunday the 11th of July!
What: physical work in the fields or the greenhouses, most likely weeding or mulching or some other summer thing that's nice especially with other people
Where: in Tuusula, on the Lassila farm, which is run by the community-supported agriculture (CSA) cooperative Oma Maa
When: on Sunday the 11th of July, from late morning to late afternoon/early evening, depending a bit on transports and people's energy levels
Getting there: either by bike + train (about 10 km by bike from the Kerava station, or a bit less from Järvenpää, departure from the Pasila station around 9 A.M., requires ABCD ticket) or by car (from Käpylä around 9.30 A.M.)
Take with you: working clothes according to the weather (it's really important to protect oneself from the sun and the heat these days), working gloves, water bottle, sunscreen, your own lunch, swimming gear if you feel like swimming
Sign up: sign up by e-mail by Saturday at 2 P.M. and do mention which transport you prefer: helsinki [at] maanystavat.fi
Miscellaneous: There's a waffle café at the farm this summer, where you can get waffles, ice cream etc. (all vegan and organic and made there). However, it's not advisable to try to replace lunch with them. There's also a photo exhibition in the café, and a work of art called Shared Spaces on the farm, it's more or less an insect-themed artistic path to walk. There's also a small pond where one can swim.
